The Last 12 Months in Review

Greetings.

The last year has been quite busy for Under the Rose, though not in the visible/audible ways you might expect (i.e., world tours, Grammys, etc.). Here are some highlights.

  • April 2012 - UTR schedules first public performance for July. (Prepare to bathe in our brilliance, ye public!)
  • May 2012 - UTR cancels first public performance to take care of family matters. (Uh, nevermind, ye public.)
  • May 2012 - UTR releases debut full-length CD.
  • October 2012 - Jason accepts a job Birmingham, AL, ensuring that future UTR efforts will involve actual face-to-face rehearsals and recording sessions... once he finds a place to live.
  • December 2012 - Jason finds a place to live that has rehearsing and recording space. (Domination will surely follow!)
  • December 2012 - Jason's basement promptly floods, setting back all UTR activity indefinitely. (Uh, cancel that domination.)
  • March 2013 - Jason's basement is restored but not yet ready for recording projects.
  • January - May 2013 - UTR writes and arranges a new EP.
  • Summer 2013 - UTR begins the recording process for the new EP.
Being such a rock star wears me out.

Stay tuned for posts detailing our upcoming plans. We're excited about some new ventures!
